This year I had the privledge of being our ward's young women girl's camp director. :) awesome, no? It was just last week, monday through friday, and we had a blast. we had the privledge of going to Heber Valley Camp, which is incredible... cabins with bunk beds, pavilions, bathrooms, a challenge course (complete with zip line), volleyball tournament, canoing, hiking, skits, games, camfire meals (we ate GOOD), and lots and lots and lots of candy and treats. Heber valley is beautiful. The missionaries there call it the "temple on the mountain" especially because the animals seem to feel the peace and safety. We ran into badger, moose, tons of little four legged feasters and many deer (complete with a sneezing deer who interrupetd a devotional). Our little group was the smallest there, but that makes us extra close. With lots of help from the girls and amazing leaders, we made it a great week. Some highlites in pictorals: (thanks mostly to jen)

our camp theme was "cruisin and choosin" therefore we had many cruise themed activities. Our group name or "port of call" was "Angel's Landing" (like the hike in zion) amongst all our fun we learned a bunch and hopefully kept those halos shinin' bright.
